THINGS ARE GOING SQUIRLEY AT THE LOGAN LAKE LOG CABIN B&B Reddy or Not ?
September 25, 2016
The new addition to the Logan Lake Log Cabin Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful little red squirrel. With fall time upon us , this little character we named “Reddy” is using the B&B back yard as a nut storage unit. Logan Lake has a beautiful abundance of wildlife/nature and we are certainly not lacking in the squirrel department as well ! This little red squirrel flattens itself to our trees, fence and deck shelling pine cones, and he enjoys the odd shelled peanut we send his way as a treat.
This red squirrel is quite cute & comical because he scolds anyone that is near the fence, backyard or in the outdoor hot tub spa. Reddy jumps from tree to tree and scales down the long pine trees and collects his cones in our cedar planter boxes as if he has a filing organizer system. Nut piles get shelled and Reddy organizes the husked shells into little piles so that he can keep track of his winter storage system. If anyone at the Log Cabin Bed & Breakfast sweeps his shells off the deck Reddy scolds from up high in frustration. Reddy is our now our mascot and is a permanent B&B guest. We hope that you will get a chance to meet him as well. Ah the great nature of Logan Lake and with winter closely approaching one will start to see even more of nature’s splendor !
